CULLMAN, Ala. – Northbrook Baptist Church invites the community to kick off the Christmas season at its Holly Jolly Palooza on Monday, Dec. 4, starting at 6 p.m. This free event offers an enchanting evening of Christmas fun designed to bring families and friends together in celebration of the holiday season.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including Christmas cookie decorating, carriage rides and a snow experience that guarantees a white Christmas no matter the weather. Funnel cakes, hot chocolate and apple cider will also be available for everyone to enjoy.

“Holly Jolly Palooza offers more than just activities; it’s an evening that provides surprises, heartwarming moments and festive entertainment that embodies the magic of Christmas,” said Tyler Wix, creative media director at Northbrook.

New this year, the event will include an outdoor movie and bonfire space designed for youth, ensuring something for every member of the family.

The inspiration behind Holly Jolly Palooza stems from the church’s desire to foster connection and alleviate the pressures of families having to create their own holiday magic. “Holly Jolly Palooza was born from a desire to create an event that would bring families and the community together to celebrate the joy of the season,” Wix shared. “Our desire is to alleviate the pressure of manufacturing holiday magic for families, and create an environment where parents can simply enjoy quintessential Christmas activities alongside their children.”

While the activities are sure to captivate attendees, Wix emphasized the heart of the event: “Holly Jolly Palooza is all about fostering connection with families and friends who are gathering to celebrate the season, neighbors coming together in the spirit of joy and shared moments that strengthen the bonds within our community. It’s a reminder of the true meaning of the season: togetherness, joy and giving.”

Holly Jolly Palooza will be held at Northbrook Baptist Church, located at 3691 Alabama Highway 157 in Cullman.
