Santa’s mailbox posted at Vinemont Town Hall
VINEMONT, Ala. – Looking for a place to drop a line to Santa? Santa’s mailbox is posted at Vinemont Town Hall for the Christmas season.
Town Clerk Kayecea Sasser said this will be the Town’s second year hosting Santa’s mailbox; it’s an effort the council began because it thought it would be a fun activity for local children to get into the Christmas spirit.
“Last year we had a great reaction from the community with 67 kids dropping off Santa letters,” Sasser said. “We also had a daycare bring their kids to town hall for a field trip for cookies and a movie and they dropped off their Santa letters.”
Santa’s mailbox will be at town hall until Dec. 15.
“Once the mailbox is picked up, the children will be receiving a response from Santa by mail,” Sasser said. “There is a box on the bench next to the mailbox where you can pick up Santa letter papers. We encourage you to also post and tag the Town with pictures of your kids dropping off their letters to Santa’s mailbox.”
Vinemont Town Hall is located at 36 Patton Drive in Vinemont.
