Here are some of the best ways to make the most of the holiday season in Cullman!

Sportsman Lake Park Winter Wonderland Christmas Light Display

This annual event kicks off Saturday, Nov. 16, and runs certain days through Dec. 29. See over a million lights and new displays! Returning this year are Christmas train rides, horse and carriage rides, a snow machine, a photo booth, hot chocolate and much more!

The Christmas Market at Cornerstone Revival Center

Shop til you drop at the Christmas Market at Cornerstone Revival Center! Held on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., the event will be complete with specialty gift vendors, sweet treats and food trucks galore!

The event will be hosted at 3151 Alabama Highway 69 N in Cullman.

Lost Creek Turkey Trot

The Lost Creek Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday, Nov. 28, on the beautiful campus of St. Bernard Prep School.

Both the 5K and 1-mile courses begin close to the gate. They flow through finely manicured trails taking the race along a serene and enchanting journey through nature’s embrace. This trail system is private property and therefore it is very common to see deer, turkey, all sorts of birds and other wildlife.

Race registration opens at 6:30 a.m. the day of the event. The 1-mile race will begin at 8, and the 5K at 8:20. The cost to enter the 1-mile event is $20. The cost to enter the 5K race is $35. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers for both males and females in each age division.
