HANCEVILLE, Ala. – The Hanceville Bulldogs were back home at Ray Talley Stadium to play their regular season finale against Oak Grove Friday night and unfortunately for the Bulldogs faithful in the stands, the Tigers dominated from start to finish on their way to a 57-13 win.
Oak Grove jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and a Hanceville safety early in the second made it a 23-0 game. The Tigers continued to pull away from the Bulldogs, stretching their lead to 43-0 by the halftime break.
Oak Grove led 50-0 at one point in the third quarter but Hanceville was able to find the end zone later in the period to cut the lead to 50-7 going into the fourth. Both teams were able to get on the board one more time in the final period, bringing the final score to 57-13 in favor of the Tigers.
The Bulldogs finish the season 1-9 with the loss.
