Obituary: Charles “Cha Cha” Milton Boothe

Charles “Cha Cha” Milton Boothe, age 61, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 after a courageous fight against Myelofibrosis. Charlie was a beloved member of the community with Cha Cha’s shaved ice. He was happiest when serving kids and families. If he wasn’t serving shaved ice you could find him on the golf course or spending time with his dogs. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Marie Leonard and Charles Boothe. 

He is survived by his wife Lisa Boothe of Cullman, AL, stepdad Tom Leonard, daughters Lindsay (Caleb) Hamilton, Saige (Kyle) Woodard, Mother-in-law Jeraldine Walker, sister-in-law Cathy Walker, Grandchildren Charlotte, Eloise, Amelia, Mac, and his babies Millie, Mollie, and Moe. 

Services for “Cha Cha” will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. Family will receive friends for a visitation from 1 p.m. until the service time at 3 p.m., with interment to follow at Cross Roads Cemetery, 6674 CR-1141, Vinemont, AL 35179.
