A graveside service, for Joseph Wayne Thompson, age 80, of Cullman, is planned for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Morgan County. All friends and family are welcome.
Wayne was born February 3, 1944, to Joseph R. Thompson and Clemmie Moore Thompson.
He passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Walker Rehab and Long-term Care in Carbon Hill, Alabama.
Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Barbara Todd, Betty Judy, and Brenda Strickland.
He is survived by his sister Joan McAnnally and her husband, Larry; several nieces and nephews.
