CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman City School Board has selected a new president and vice-president for 2024-2025, in a standard action wherein all school systems are required to reconstitute their board leadership annually.

Board member Amy Carter has been nominated to serve as president and Jill Bradberry as vice-president. Cheryl Harrison previously served as board president for two consecutive years.

“I want to thank Mrs. Harrison for her consistent, strong leadership for the past two years,” Carter said upon taking her new role as board president. “She represented us well as we reached several milestones.”

Superintendent Kyle Kallhoff said he looks forward to continuing to work with Carter, as well as the entire board, as the district moves ahead with continued construction projects and high-level achievements in academics.

“Mrs. Carter will be a great board president,” Kallhoff said. “With our tremendous momentum with our safety and growth plan and continuous academic achievements, this is a great time to be a part of Cullman City Schools and certainly a great time to be the president of the Board of Education.”
