CULLMAN, Ala. – Sportsman Lake Park will play host location to the “Run, Run Rudolph” Fun Run to kick off the holiday season on Friday, Nov. 15, at 5 p.m.

Cullman County Parks and Recreation Marketing Director Sara Morgan said the department has  looked to hold this race for some time and is excited to bring it to the community.

“People have always asked to walk the park while the lights are up so we are giving them a chance to do that one day only and they can partake in additional fun as well,” Morgan said. “Run, Run Rudolph is our first ever fun run during our Winter Wonderland Christmas Light Show at Sportsman Lake Park. We will also be having an ugly Christmas sweater/Christmas costume contest, so make sure you get dressed up for the holiday season. We will have hot chocolate and shirts for sale at the finish line! We can’t wait to see everyone in the holiday spirit.”

Morgan said this will be fun for all ages. The race will be stroller and leashed dog friendly.
