Mayola, a devoted wife, mother, and beloved “Mawmaw,” passed away peacefully on October 18th at the age of 95. She was surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.

Born on September 17, 1929 to Orbie and Lula Quick in Cullman, Mrs. Robertson dedicated her life to her family. She was a loving and supportive wife to her late husband, Carl for 73 years, a nurturing mother, and a cherished Mawmaw to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, who will forever remember her gentle wisdom, endless love, and nurturing spirit. A lover of nature, Mayola found beauty in the world around her. Her passion for the outdoors led her to spend countless hours exploring nature or simply enjoying the serenity of a quiet garden. She had a special gift for growing flowers, filling her home and yard with vibrant blooms that reflected her own colorful and radiant personality. Roses, lilies, and wildflowers flourished under her care, just as her family did with her love and support. Her presence was a blessing to everyone who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness. In addition, Mrs. Robertson was a life-long member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.
