Van Garmon, age 78 of Vinemont, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 27, 1946, to James Homer Garmon and Gladys Graves Garmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James D. Garmon, Bob Garmon, Hudson Garmon, John Garmon; sisters, Evelyn Rigsby and Nell Kucejko.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Garmon; sons, Kevin (Yolanda) Garmon and Cory Garmon; daughters, Heather Smith, Gena (Tim) Oswald; grandchildren, Drew Johnson, Kinsey Oswald, Ashley (Travis) Oswald, Alex Garmon, Kendall Garmon; sister, Virginia (Maury) Fowler, Dean O’Connor; brothers, Barry Garmon and a host of nieces and nephews.
