HANCEVILLE, Ala. – After a tough battle with their county rivals in Vinemont last week, the Hanceville Bulldogs returned home to Ray Talley Stadium Friday night for a region game against Midfield. Unfortunately for the home crowd, the Patriots took control from the start and cruised past the Bulldogs 64-6.
Midfield took a 16-0 lead in the opening quarter and was able to make it a 28-0 game by halftime. The Patriots stretched the lead to 48-0 by the end of the third quarter and continued pulling away in the fourth on their way to a 64-6 win.
Hanceville falls to 1-6 with the loss and the Bulldogs will be back on the road next week to take on Winfield.
