David Stump, of Florence, Alabama died at 4:30 a.m., Oct. 6, 2024 of a sudden and devastating illness.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 at Shady Grove Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
He is preceded in death by both parents, Walter Dwight Stump and Enid June Cupp Stump; two brothers, Bradley Stump, Jeffery Paul Stump; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Sue Wernicke Stump; children, Jeannelle Maria Stump Diviney (Frankie), her son, Zachary Paul Speegle, his two children, Huntley Speegle and Hadley Speegle, Franklin, Frankies two children, Dalton and Abbie, Charles Stump (Meredith), their three children, William Samuel, Norah Kate, Mateline Mae, Danette Jean Stump Little (Michael) and their two children; Aiden Blaze Stump and Piper Sue Little; a sister, Sherri Lynn Stump Young and her daughter, family and friends.
