Funeral Mass for Janease Watson Wilbanks, age 71, of Cullman, is Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Patrick Egan, O.S.B. Rosary will be held Monday night at Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be at Shedd Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilbanks was born on January 10, 1953, to James Watson and Minnie Elliott. She passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Watson; mother, Minnie Elliott; grandchildren, Blake Lee James Johnson, and Kia Rain Wilbanks; sister, Lillian Watson.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years, John Wilbanks; son, Dustin Wilbanks (Jossie); daughters, Krystle Holloway (Brett), and Jennifer Wilburn (Tony); sister, Karen Watson; grandchildren, Devon Johnson, Ayla Johnson, Brianna Johnson, Shae Wilburn, Kirsten Wilburn, Caleb Wilburn, Kim Wilburn, Kaylix Wilbanks, Eavenly Wilbanks, Beau Wilbanks, Baylor Wilbanks, Camron Tyree, Matt Whidden, Mason Whidden, Maddie Wilson and a host of great-grandchildren, and family and friends.
Family will always remember Janease as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart and she loved her church dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
