Thomas A. Yalsh, known to many as Tom or Tommy, passed away on September 28th.
Born in 1949 in New Jersey to Andrew and Dorothy Yalsh, Tom served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam before marrying Jeanne Yalsh. Together, they raised a daughter, Becky. Tom built a successful career in the automotive industry, retiring as an executive at Subaru Corporation. He was a devoted husband, father, and Papaw who never met a stranger and always offered a helping hand. He loved cars, boats, and time spent on the water.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jeanne Yalsh; his daughter, Becky Durling; his brother, Robert Yalsh; his son-in-law, Steve Durling; and his beloved grandson, Layne Durling. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
The family will hold a celebration of life in the upcoming weeks.
