Funeral service for Wesley Edward Freeman, Sr., age 92, of Cullman, is Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and interment will be at Holly Pond Cemetery.

Mr. Freeman was born on June 25, 1932, to Mack Freeman and Martha Jane Calvert Freeman. He passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, infant boy, and Randall Thomas Freeman; grandchildren, Scotty Freeman, Cassie Freeman, Jason Freeman; great-grandchildren, Daxton Freeman, Trevor Lavon Martin; brothers, Bervil, Ervil, and Junior; sisters, Jewel and Vaulene.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Agnes Jennett Freeman; sons, Wesley Edward Freeman, Jr. (Patty), Danny Ray Freeman (Angela), Corey Freeman (Tonya), Michael Dale Crider; daughters, Tina Murphree (Randy), and Rebecca Martin (Tom); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Freeman, Tyler Freeman, Levi Freeman, Adam Martin, Josh Russell, and Brent Langley. Honorary pallbearer will be Camden Freeman.
Family describes Wesley as a wonderful, hard-working, and caring man. He loved his job as a steel fabricator and never missed work. In his free time when he was able, he loved wood-working and riding horses. He loved his family and his dog, Maggie very much. He will be greatly missed.
