Hope Horses receives $10K boost from Ag Commissioner Pate

CULLMAN, Ala. – Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries Rick Pate this week visited local nonprofit Hope Horses, presented the organization with $10,000.

Pate said the funds are to continue and expand the nonprofit’s therapeutic/adaptive riding program, school field trip program and equine camp program.

Executive Director Kelsey Scott shared her appreciation for the funding.

“It’s truly wonderful having individuals such as Commissioner Rick Pate that support and back the mission of our program,” Scott said. “Hope is a true community organization and it takes many individuals to make this organization a success.”
