Angela Leighann Allcorn Johns, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on Sunday evening, July 21, 2024, at the age of 58. Mrs. Johns was born in Cullman County, Alabama, to Jeannie Elizabeth Burgett Allcorn on November 24, 1965.

Mrs. Johns worked long hours as a cosmetologist, but she always found time to support her children in the things they enjoyed doing. She enjoyed attending concerts with her daughter and she also loved to travel. After twenty-one years behind the chair, Angie retired. She then became a full-time Nana to her beloved grandchildren, and she loved every minute of it. Angie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and her meals were an expression of her love for them. Angie was not only a devoted and loving wife and mother, but she was a friend to many. She will be greatly missed.

Those preceding Mrs. Johns in death includes her grandparents, Coy and Inez Burgett; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James L. “Jimmy” and Barbara Scott Johns; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Johns Quick.

Those surviving Angie includes her husband, Alan Johns; mother, Jeannie Allcorn; children, Scott Johns (Brooke), Shawna Manning, Amanda Johns, Kimberly Johns (Luke Davis); brother, Joey Allcorn (Diane); brother-in-law, Michael Johns; grandbabies, Addyson Manning, Ellie Wells, Brycen Johns, Donavan Morgan, Carter Morgan; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation, at the funeral home, on Thursday evening, July 25, 2024, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Johns will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, July 26, 2024, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with David Johns officiating. Burial will follow services in Bethlehem East Cemetery.

Holly Pond Funeral Home is honored to serve the Johns family and our thoughts and prayers are with them.
