Sidney was sweet, kind, and loving to everyone he met. He loved making new friends, experiencing new things, and spending time with the people he cared about. He was witty and funny, charming and charismatic, and had an incredible talent for falling asleep absolutely anywhere. He loved music, art, and fashion. He took forever to get ready because he’d be planning the perfect outfit and customizing his clothes to make them special. He was passionate about science and was planning to start school and pursue nuclear physics. He was a young man with big dreams and a big heart. He was and is loved immeasurably by his family and those close to him. His absence leaves behind a hole that can never be filled.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Jewell Pope and aunt, Carol Nelson.

Survivors include his mother, Laurel (Blake) Ann Schiffman; sisters, Elizabeth (Christopher Metcalf) Anderson, Moriah Seiger, and Jasmine (Shadoe Cattet) Seiger; brothers, Michael (Amanda) Moon, Logan Seiger, Lakota Seiger, Brandon (Kelsey Thomeson) Benson, Gabriel Benson, Elijah Benson, and Conner Benson; nephews, Aaron Guthrie, Joseph Justice, Bryant Anderson, Caspian Cattet, Atticus Cattet, and Raiden Bates; niece, Lily Seiger; and uncle, Mark Pope.
