CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Police Department confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Sportsman Lake Road and U.S. Highway 31 around 6:50 p.m. Sunday. Chief David Nassetta said a female was hit as she tried to cross the road while walking her dog.
“She has minor injuries but her dog was killed,” Nassetta said. “There was also a separate incident around the same time at another location with a wreck and no injuries. But these were two separate incidents.”
