Celebration of Life service for Sammie Wilson, Jr., age 70, will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Colony, AL, with Rev. Willy J. Twitty officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wilson passed away on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at The Folsom Center. He was born, March 15, 1953, in Connecticut, to Sammie Lee Wilson, Sr. and Mary Lee Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Carl Wilson and wife, Sharla Wilson.
Survivors include a host of children and grandchildren; brothers, Marcelle Rasheed, Calvin Wilson, and Sonny Polk; and family and friends.
