In loving memory of Jayne Glover Norman, who graced this world with her wit, warmth, and a touch of Southern Sass. Born on Aug. 24, 1954, Jayne peacefully departed this life on Dec. 2, 2023, at the age of 69. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship.
Jayne was the owner of Consign and Design Furnishings for two decades, where her impeccable taste transformed houses into homes. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her craft were evident to all who walked through the doors of her shop.
Survived by her devoted daughter, Julie Below, son-in-law Jeffrey Cole, and her grandsons, Hilson and Griffin Cole, who held a special place in her heart and brought endless joy to her life. Her siblings, Betty Skinner and Dale Glover, shared both fond memories and a few good-natured squabbles throughout the years. And let’s not forget her feline companion, Prissy, who provided endless comfort and companionship.
Preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Iva Glover, and her brother Jerry, Jayne now rests peacefully in the company of her loved ones who passed before her. Those who knew Jayne will fondly recall her stubborn streak, her fierce independence, and her unwavering generosity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Paddock Vue at Stone Bridge Farms on Jan. 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. Family and friends are asked to join together to celebrate and honor Jayne’s life and the lasting mark she left on our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Pilot Club of Cullman, a cause that Jayne contributed to for many years. An opportunity to donate will be available at her celebration. As we say our goodbyes, let’s remember Jayne with laughter, just as she would have wanted. After all, a life well-lived is best honored with joy and a touch of humor.
