ADDISON, Ala. – The Addison Bulldogs hosted the 4A Curry Yellow Jackets for two contests on the hardwood at lovely Allen Stephenson Gym on a blustery chilly Monday night. The young Lady Bulldogs played good basketball for three quarters of their game but there are four quarters in a contest, and they decided not to show up for the third period. Addison lost a tough one, 38-29 to the Lady Yellow Jackets. The young ladies from Addison seem to be getting better and then they fall back a little bit. This is what happened tonight.  Addison got off to a good start and won the period against the larger Curry team, 7-5. Gracie Roberts nailed a deep three-pointer while Karson Wyatt and Ava Bartlett had a bucket apiece. Bartlett also dominated the glass as she pulled in 5 rebounds. Curry was led by Jaylee Calloway who scored all 5 points for the Lady Yellow Jackets.

The second period was good for the Lady Dawgs as well as they won the period 9-8 to take a 16-13 lead into the half. Addison still had problems, as they have all year, handling pressure defense but they overcame that by playing good defense of their own. The second period was the Bartlett and Wyatt show for the Lady Bulldogs. Bartlett led Addison with 5 points and 5 rebounds.
