CULLMAN, Ala. – Emma, an approximately 3-year-old female Husky mix is available for adoption at Cullman County Animal Shelter.

Despite her breed’s reputation of high-powered work dogs, Emma maintains a stable medium-level of energy; don’t make any mistake in thinking she’s lazy, she is always ready to be riled up for zoomies or take on an adventure with you. She cherishes time spent with her handlers at the shelter and is remarkably self-confident, with a keen sense of self.

Emma’s favorite comfort item at the shelter is her khaki tactical backpack – the perfect accessory for hikes. While Huskies have a reputation of singing while they’re cooped up, Emma is candidly calm and patient in her kennel, waiting for the next chance of human interaction. Emma is an ideal candidate for becoming not only a hiking partner, but also a true companion.

Ready to add Emma to your family? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.

Her adoption fee includes spay, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
