CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman City Council on Monday presented a $600,000 check to Cullman City Schools, part of a long-term plan to help fund multiple construction and capital improvement projects in the system.

“A few years ago, in talking with the superintendent and the school board, there was a very ambitious plan for capital improvement, with all the schools,” said Council President Jenny Folsom. “So the City, mayor and council agreed to support this project with a $6 million donation. This would be in installments of $600,000 a year for 10 years. This will be the third installment.”
