Funeral service for Lacy Jean Laney, age 35, of Cullman, will be Monday, Oct. 30, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Blair Congregational Methodist Church, with Bro. Dan Hopper officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday at the church. Interment will follow at Blair Cemetery.
The family is asking for donations to the family for Lacy’s children, in lieu of flowers.

Lacy passed from this life on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023. She was born March 4, 1988 to Paul Gene Byrams, Jr. and Charlotte Cantrell Byrams.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Casey Byrams; grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Kyle Laney; in-laws, Jeff and Kay Laney; son, Casey Laney; daughter, Katherine Laney; sisters, Stevie Jo (Wesley) Stump; sister-in-law, Kristi Ballew; nephews and nieces; Bryson Stump, Jaidyn Stump, Walker Stump, Weston Stump, Jacob Ballew, and Cole Ballew; a host of family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Bryson Stump, Wesley Stump, Jacob Ballew, Cole Ballew, John Kyzer, Jeremy Gilbert.
Lacy’s sweet children said they will always remember her as “the most awesomest, loving, beautiful mommy in the whole wide world”. She was a woman who loved her kids and her family so much and made them her life. She will be very missed by all who know and love her.
