CULLMAN, Ala. — On Oct. 16, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies were involved in a chase that started in the Bremen area around 7:30 p.m. and concluded in Jefferson County, according to Sheriff Matt Gentry.
Suspects in the vehicle fired multiple gunshots at CCSO deputies while attempting to evade them. Several agencies joined the pursuit as it extended beyond Cullman County. The chase ended when the suspects crashed in the Kimberly/Morris community, resulting in the death of one suspect.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
