CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Commission on Tuesday approved the budget for the 2024 fiscal year. It reported total budgeted expenses of $31,467,929 and total budgeted revenue of $31,579,290.
The commission also approved a tax abatement for Topre in the amount of $1,042,699. According to Stanley Kennedy, project manager for the Cullman Economic Development Agency, the abatement will create $588,000-plus for the local school system over a 10-year period. Kennedy also stated that it will create 50 new jobs.
