Melissa Faye Barnett, age 45 of Vinemont, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Cullman Health Care Center. She was born Friday, September 14, 1979, to Bobby Gene Steele and Loretta Pennington Moctezuma.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Monica Steele.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Barnett; mother, Loretta Moctezuma (Raul); daughters, Raquel, Olivia and Selina Tello and Rayne Ball; son, Kyle Barnett; grandchildren, Bennet Tello and Waverly Bridges; sisters, Camila Moctezuma, Mendy Conn, Tracy Melson; brother, Jose Moctezuma and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
