Memorial service for Gerry Wiley Wilhite, 86, of Cullman, will be at 12 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2025, at First Baptist Church Cullman, Dr. Edwin Hayes and Dr. Tom Richter officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. before the service.
Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
Mr. Wilhite was born on June 6, 1938, to parents, William Lewis and Clydia Mae Little Wilhite. Gerry was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church Cullman. He grew up in Cullman, graduating from Cullman High School and was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for Griffen Wheel in Bessemer and in Iowa and was the owner of Wilhite Carpet Service. He loved antiques and Alabama football.
Mr. Wilhite was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Carroll, brother, William Wilhite, sister, Betty Calvert.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Wilhite; daughters, Cindy (Chris) Sandlin, Alison (Corrie) Stott, Amanda (Brett) King; grandchildren, Joshua (Lindsey) Stott, Amy (Jason) Andrade, Emily Sandlin (Taylor Brown), Tori King (Robin Sanders), Alex (Kevin) Shaw; great-grandchildren, Jackson and William Andrade, Laine and Ellery Stott, Logan Grace Shaw; and a host of family and friends.
