PREP BASEBALL: 6 local teams preparing for state playoffs

CULLMAN, Ala. – With area play now officially in the books, the field is set for this year’s state baseball playoffs, and we have six local teams in the mix. The Cullman Bearcats, Addison Bulldogs and Vinemont Eagles all won their regular season area titles and will host round one at their home fields. Cold Springs and Good Hope each finished runner up in their respective areas and will be on the road for the first round.

Cullman v. Hazel Green (Class 6A)

Game One – Friday at 5:00 p.m.

Game Two – Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Game Three – Saturday at 2 p.m. if necessary

Fairview at Lawrence County (Class 5A)

Game One – Friday at 5:00 p.m.

Game Two – Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Game Three – Saturday at 2 p.m. if necessary

Good Hope at Madison County (Class 4A)

Game One – Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Game Two – Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Game Three – Saturday at 1 p.m. if necessary

Vinemont v. Randolph County (Class 3A)

Game One – Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Game Two – Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Game Three – Friday at 4:30 p.m. if necessary

Cold Springs at Red Bay (Class 2A)

Game One – Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Game Two – Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Game Three – Saturday at 3 p.m. if necessary

Addison v. Skyline (Class 1A)

Game One – Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Game Two – Thursday at 6:40 p.m.

Game Three – Friday at 4:30 p.m. if necessary
