CULLMAN, Ala. – Gypsy Soul Antiques and Things is hosting “Come to the Table,” a community Easter Tablescape event on Tuesday, April 15, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at 218 First Ave. SE, in Cullman.
Owner Lindsey Blackwood said, “Come learn a whimsical approach to your table settings, along with modern and simple ways to design your floral arrangements using both real and silk flowers from Cullman Florist. All are welcome at our table at Gypsy Soul Antiques and Things as we will have lunch provided for all guests. Grab your ticket today and bring a friend.”
Blackwood said the table is such a huge part of the Passover and Easter story.
“The table has long been such a central feature to homes as generations gather around it to celebrate and break bread together,” she said. “It is the reason Cullman Florist and Gypsy Soul crossed paths as we both gathered with other women around a table to learn and grow and celebrate each other. We want to invite you to the table because we believe all are welcome and all are a gift from God. Also, who doesn’t want to have their home gloriously decorated for such a special day with family.”
Blackwood said they want to have more “Come to the Table” events yearly and workshops about how to have beautiful tablescapes that look like a magazine cover, but on a budget. She said you don’t have to spend a lot to have a beautiful display.
At the April 15 event, there will be a door prize giveaway from Cullman Florist and Gypsy Soul Antiques and Things. There will also be 20% discounts in both stores for guests.
Tickets are $40 and available at https://square.link/u/WGSlgGoG.
