Wilma Sheina Mooney, age 76, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Wilma is survived by her son Jeff Holmes (Jessica); her daughters Michelle Welch, Jackie Canales, Kim Looney & Melissa Smith, her sisters Janice Bean, Carolyn Rideway, Linda Smith, Debra Fowler & Teresa Whitlock (Kenny) and her brothers Randall Guess (Rhonda), Danny Guess, Chris Guess & Joseph Guess. Nineteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a host of family and friends
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband George Mooney; her parents Kenneth & Wilma Guess; her sister Pat Crumbley; her nephew Scotty James, her grandparents Darwin & Gladys Guess, Toll & Lois Kilgore, her granddaughters Tori Welch & Kylie Smith, and her grandson Dakota Lamons and her brother-in-law Wayne Ridgeway.
A celebration of life visitation for Wilma will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. Her celebration of life funeral service will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home.
Wilma will be laid to rest in Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist Cemetery, 9154 AL-69, Cullman, AL 35058.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Holmes, Adrian Canales, Chase Jacobs, Isaiah Holmes, Kaleb Hudson & John Smalls.
