HANCEVILLE, Ala. – The Shirley Burden Public Library has added two librarians to its staff. Library Manager Teresa Rivera said the library is fully staffed for the first time since last November. The new employees are Pam Reid and Cystal Stone.
“Pam Reid joined in February,” Rivera said. “She is a local resident and retired educator. She had served on the library board for many years previously. Pam is also involved in the Culture Club. She is a mother and grandmother. Crystal Stone joined the library team in March, and loves to hike and enjoys art. She also is a local Hanceville resident. She is married and has family in the area. Both have contributed a lot to the library in their short term working. Stop in and meet their smiling faces.”
