CULLMAN, Ala. – The Friends of the Public Libraries of Cullman County will host a Clue-themed murder mystery dinner, titled “Unraveling the Clue to the Future” on Thursday, April 10, at Camp Meadowbrook. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and the interactive show beginning at 6:30. The evening will also include live music by the Holly Pond jazz band and will feature professional actors from Atlanta participating in the murder mystery show.
Tickets are $85 per person or $650 for a table of eight and are available at https://givebutter.com/2EOJrI. Dressing in costume is encouraged to help bring the game to life.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Cullman County Public Library’s capital campaign, which aims to raise funds for the renovation and expansion of the library’s 1967 building. Plans for the updated facility include bringing the building up to code, improving ADA accessibility and adding new amenities such as a designated children’s area, study rooms, a STEAM lab and a community bookstore. The estimated cost of the project is around $6 million.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to support our library while enjoying an evening of interactive fun,” said Julie Freeman, president of Friends of the Public Libraries of Cullman County. “Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of laughter, intrigue and fundraising for a great cause.”
