Daniel Fowler, a man of faith, boundless kindness, and an infectious sense of humor, passed away on April 1, 2025 at Cullman Regional Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will never be forgotten. He was a selfless soul, always putting others before himself, and his heart knew no bounds when it came to helping those in need.

A devoted Christian; Daniel lived his life guided by faith, integrity, and love. His wife, Shirley, was the absolute light of his life, and he adored her with every fiber of his being. Their love was a testament to commitment, laughter, and the beauty of a shared journey. He also held an unbreakable bond with his beloved daughter, always cherishing the moments they shared together. Daniel had a way of brightening every room he entered. His smile alone could lift spirits, and his famous orange shoes became a symbol of his vibrant personality. He was known for his quick wit and endless jokes, always making sure that laughter was a part of every conversation. His caring nature and ability to make people feel loved and valued touched more lives than can be counted.

A true man of his word, Daniel would do anything for anyone, expecting nothing in return. He lived his life with an open heart and open arms, and those who had the privilege of knowing him were better for it. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit, his laughter, and his love will remain forever in the hearts of those he cherished. He was loved by many, and his impact on the world will never fade.

Survivors include his daughter, Evon Fowler (Tom Alwine); sister, Ellen McDonald; sister-in-law, Jackie Fowler; brother-in-law, Paul Angell; and a host of many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.

Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Fowler; parents, Millard and Bessie Fowler; and brothers, Donald Fowler and Jerry Fowler.

His nephews will have the honor of serving as his pallbearers.

Hanceville Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fowler family.

Daniel Fowler, a man who lived with joy, kindness, and faith, will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
