Wind will be on the increase this morning.  By 10 am sustained winds of 10-20 mph with gusts from 20-35 mph will be common through this evening.  Some flooding of lots, parks and roads with isolated road closures may occur in Mobile and Baldwin counties through 6 pm.  Winds will slowly subside after 10 pm.

A stalled frontal boundary across Arkansas and Tennessee may move close enough to initiate a few storms north of I-59 and especially north of a Hamilton – Decatur line between 12 am and 7 am Thursday.

Any storm that develops has the potential to produce wind gusts from 40-60 mph, hail and a tornado or two.  However, there are equal chances the frontal boundary remains north of Alabama with no storm development tonight.

Otherwise, conditions will remain dry through Saturday evening, except for the potential of a few showers/thunderstorms in northwestern AL Saturday afternoon.

The frontal boundary finally begins to move southward Saturday evening with widespread showers and thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday.  There is the potential for all modes of severe weather beginning in northwestern Alabama after 12 am Sunday and ending by afternoon in the southeastern sections.

High temperatures Wednesday through Saturday will be very warm with readings in the middle 80 to around 90 each day.
