Funeral Service for Johnny Vann Scott, age 76, of Logan, AL will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, burial at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Scott passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 8, 1948, to Vann Buron Scott and Mary Jane Craft Scott.
He was preceded in death by, his wife Donna Gail Scott; father, Vann Buron Scott; his mother, Mary Jane Scott; two brothers, Roger Dale Scott and Michael Wayne Scott
Survivors include his children, Jeffrey “Jeff” Dewayne Scott, Debra Susan Smith, Kim (Jason) Hall, Buron (Carman) Scott and Emily (Jason) Sellers; grandchildren, Cody Scott, Erin (Justin) Hightower, Magan (Clay) Scott, Madison Hall, Samantha Scott, Emma Sellers and Whitney Spooner; great grandchildren, Isaiah Martin, Kaylee Spooner, Kayden Spooner, Kymber Spooner, Kennedy Scott, Riley Scott, and Joe Scott and his little dog and companion, Two.
Mr. Scott was married to his loving wife, Donna, for 53 years; He spent several years in the Army and had a love of music, where he learned to play 5 different musical instruments by ear. He loved his family, and was an avid outdoorsman that loved game fowl, hunting, and fishing.
