CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Child Development Center parent teacher organization is hosting the third annual Cullman Family Expo on Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center.
Organizers said the Cullman Family Expo is more than just a free family friendly event; it’s a celebration of community and a chance for local businesses to engage with families from Cullman and surrounding counties.
The event also raises funds for special projects at the CDC, supporting children with disabilities who deserve every opportunity to thrive. Besides Traditions Bank, the Expo is also made possible by generous sponsors Imagine Applied Behavior Analysis, Premier Bank of the South and Encore Rehabilitation.
CDC Principal Trent Hardman said the Expo welcomes families and people of all ages. Attendees can look forward to a variety of vendors and exhibitors offering resources and giveaways.
“We are more than excited for this year’s Expo,” Hardman said. “This is a great event that provides resources to all families across our area, all while supporting our parent teacher organization and the students and staff of the Child Development Center.”
Hardman said there are several people to thank for this year’s event.
“(Chair) Jennifer Hodges has worked extremely hard in putting this great event together, along with our other PTO officers and members,” Hardman said. “We are also so thankful for our great sponsors and vendors who are choosing to support our event and come to spend the day with us! We are looking forward to seeing everyone come out to support our school and spend some time with us on April 5.”
Cullman Family Expo Chair Jennifer Hodges said the Expo is an exciting time to come together as a community and support each other.
“We have many vendors with art, crafts, food and other things for sale,” Hodges said. “We also have many exhibitors like area nonprofits with resources, information and giveaways for families looking for assistance with food security, health insurance, jobs and career growth, life skills, pregnancy and mental health services.”
