CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Public Library hosted an Author Talk event with local author Dr. Rebekah Lloyd on Wednesday, March 19.
Lloyd said she published her first book in August.
“My first one was published Aug. 1, 2024,” Lloyd said. “My memoir, ‘Beautifully Flawed: A Journey of Faith, Loss, and Resilience,’ will be published April 15. The new children’s book series, ‘Not a Normal Kid,’ will launch in May with the first book ‘Sam’s Big Adventure.’”
Lloyd said she’s thrilled that the library is hosting Author Talks for local writers.
“With so many people losing interest in reading, opportunities like this are more important than ever,” she said. “Hearing directly from authors about the inspiration behind their work can reignite a love for books and open the door to a lifetime of adventures. I encourage others to share their stories as well because we need more connection, and storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to bring us together.”
