CULLMAN, Ala. – Young performers will have the opportunity to dive into the world of theater this summer as Heirlooms Fine & Performing Arts presents “Finding Nemo Jr.” Auditions for the 10-day performing arts camp that will take place on April 11, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and April 12, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at St. John’s Church in Cullman.
“’Finding Nemo Jr.’ will be put on as a 10-day performing arts intensive for students ages 6-16,” said Paige Clabo, Heirlooms founder and artistic director. “This exciting opportunity will allow students interested in theatre arts to learn all aspects of putting on a show!”
The camp will be held from June 18-28 at Wallace State Community College, with daily rehearsals from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The camp will conclude with three performances of “Finding Nemo Jr.” from June 26-28. The cost of the camp is $180 per participant.
Cast descriptions for each role are available on the Heirlooms Fine & Performing Arts Facebook page. Auditioning performers must prepare a 90-second song of their choice and be ready to read from a script.
“No experience is required. Just bring your energy, excitement and love for the arts,” Clabo added. “We can’t wait to see you there!”
