Funeral service for Margaret Ann Maze Smitherman, 72, will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 at Sardis #2 Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening at Cullman Funeral Home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Mrs. Smitherman passed away March 18th, 2025 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. She was born September 7, 1952 to Luther Garland Maze and Mattie Madale Dixie Vance Maze. She loved her family and they were her life. She enjoyed gardening, karoke, and her dogs. She always tried to put Jesus first in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Billy Ramey; son, Quincy Ramey; brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Maze; sister, Marie Beck.
Survivors include her husband, Lynn Smitherman; sons, Billy (Barbara) Ramey, Aaron (Hannah) Smitherman, Shelton (Jennifer) Ramey; daughters, Pamela Crawford, Christy (Chris) Pitts; grandchildren, Zasmine & Kolton Ramey, Brayden, Kerah & Jaxon Grissom, Daniel (Brittany) Ramey, Serena (Joseph) Adair, Samantha (Devin) Taylor, Cody Crawford, Billy Ramey, Kayla (Kyle) Taylor, Katilin Crawford, Matthew & Ethan Ramey, Jordan, Zayden, & Payton Smitherman, Clayton Smitherman, Josh Cole, Shevy Elrod; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Waylon, Amberlyn Adair, Everleigh, Brylee, Thomas, & Alexander Taylor; sister-in-law, Tanya Ramey; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Matthew, Ethan, Billy Ramey, Daniel Ramey, Brayden Grissom, Jordan Smitherman, Cody Crawford, Joseph Adair.
