Don C. Sivley Sr. of Cullman, Alabama passed away on March 19, 2025 at age 97. He was born on December 3, 1927, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Charles W. Sivley and Evelyn (Boschung) Sivley.
Don graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduation, he pursued a career in department store window display, where he worked many years at several prominent department stores, primarily Burger Phillips in Birmingham, Alabama, and Kirvins in Columbus, Georgia.
Don was married to Mary Kathleen Robbins, and together they had five children. In addition to his parents and wife, Don was predeceased by his sister Mary VanBuren of Hoover, AL., brothers Charles Sivley and Jack Sivley of Birmingham, AL. his daughter Sharon (Sivley) Campbell of Cullman, AL., great grandson Jensen Haynes of Birmingham, AL.
He is survived by his sons, Don C. Sivley Jr. (Vicki) of Birmingham, AL., and Charles Sivley of Lincoln, AL., his daughter Karen Sivley Lane (David) of Cullman, AL., and Marge Bolin of Spencer, NC. Don also leaves behind five grandchildren: Brian Sivley (Dusty) of Argo, Al., Andrea Sivley Haynes (Chance) of Birmingham, AL., Nicole Lane of Cullman, AL., Blake Campbell of Cullman, AL., and Brittney Knight (Adam) of Cullman, AL., as well as five great-grandchildren: Jayla Haynes, Jameson Haynes, and Jack Haynes of Birmingham, AL., Cruz and Campbell Knight of Cullman, AL., He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Services will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 2nd Avenue N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. With the visitation for friends at 1 p.m. The service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Joy Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 3561 County Road 8, Bremen, Alabama.
Don will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
