Jerry ‘Frog’ Miller, 76 of Cullman, Alabama passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Born on May 18, 1948, in Cullman, Frog was a beloved figure whose vibrant personality and unforgettable presence left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.
Affectionately known as ‘Frog’, he was a larger- than-life character who could turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary memory. With his boundless energy, humor, and a loud voice that always loved to sing, Frog brought joy and laughter to countless lives. A graduate of Cullman High School and a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, he was admired as a legend, an icon, and even a hero by many in his community. To his friends, he was fiercely loyal- a friend for life.
Frog is survived by his loving daughter, Jamie (Michael) Smith; his brother, Bryce (Nancy) Miller; and two cherished grandsons, Garrett Smith and Nolan Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Jackson and Flora M. Persall Miller; two brothers, Larry Emmett Miller and Arvi Lee ‘Al’ Miller; three sisters, Iva Lee Horibe, Joyce Anne Brindley and Linda Faye Jones; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Berlin, Al.
