CULLMAN, Ala. – Smith Lake Zip Line Adventures is gearing up for an exciting new season and inviting the community to join in the fun at its Season Opening Celebration on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities, including bounce houses, free hot dogs, merchandise giveaways, raffles, craft vendors, snow cones and much more. Discounted zip line tours will also be available all day using promo code OPENWKND2025.
“Smith Lake Zip Line has been hard at work this off-season to be able to revamp our customer experience from start to finish,” said Brittani Coker, chief operations officer. “We have increased our social media presence and reworked our website. We have added so many great features this season like a brand-new snow cone machine and new and improved merch designs.”
In addition to the upgrades and new features, the facility has expanded its offerings for the community, including a new event venue space available for rent, with seating for up to 60 people. They have also partnered with local camping facilities to offer special discounts for visitors.
The Season Opening Celebration aims to bring the community together while also highlighting the many small businesses in the area. Local vendors will be set up throughout the event, offering handmade crafts, unique gifts and more. “We truly feel there is room for all of us to be successful while supporting one another,” Coker said. “We are so excited about this season and anxious to share it with our community, so we hope to see you all there.”
For those interested in participating as vendors, the registration fee is $50, which includes a 10×10 setup space and access to electricity.
