CULLMAN, Ala. – Heirlooms Fine & Performing Arts is introducing a new 12-week Performing Arts Camp, designed to help young performers develop their acting, singing and dancing skills. Starting March 11, the camp will be held once a week at St. John’s Church, with multiple class options available for students of varying ages and experience levels.

The after-school program, led by Heirlooms Founder and Artistic Director Paige Clabo, aims to create year-round programs to foster creativity, confidence and collaboration in interested young performers. “We hope to begin offering spring and fall programs every year while also continuing with private vocal lessons,” Clabo said.

This spring’s Performing Arts Camp consists of four distinct programs tailored to different age groups and experience levels.

  • Little Treasure Troupe (ages 4-6) – Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m.
This program introduces young children to the performing arts through acting, singing and dancing. Each week builds on the previous one, culminating in a fun showcase for family and friends.
  • Foundations of Performance (ages 6-10) – Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
This advanced curriculum blends singing, acting and dancing to nurture young performers’ skills and confidence. Each week builds upon core techniques, fostering creativity and teamwork and culminating in a dynamic end-of-term showcase.
  • Heirlooms Youth Ensemble (ages 8-16) – Thursdays from 4-5 p.m.
The Heirlooms Youth Ensemble program is designed to develop vocal skills, musicality and teamwork. Participants will learn diverse repertoire, vocal techniques and performance skills, culminating in a final concert for the community.
  • Heirlooms Triple Threat (ages 10-16) – Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The Triple Threat program is designed for advanced students who are ready to excel in all facets of performing arts: singing, acting and dancing. This elite program challenges participants to refine their craft, pushing their limits to become well-rounded and versatile performers.

The 12-week camp runs through May 27 and will conclude with performances showcasing students’ progress.
