Kendyl Danielle Malone went to sleep on February 20, 2025, and woke up that same instant looking into the face of her savior Jesus Christ.

Kendyl, born on September 21, 1994, and faced many struggles in life, the main one being her health. She fought kidney disease, just like her mother and grandmother before her. In the last couple of years this illness also took its toll on her heart and liver, as well as her eyes. Although her health declined her spirit flourished. She was kind, loving, thoughtful and compassionate. She was the least judgmental person that treated everyone the way she wanted to be treated.

Kendyl was preceded in death by her mother, Leslie Malone; grandparents Dwight and Beverly Phillips, David Malone and Melissa Smith; her great grandparents, Lavern and Irene Black, Talmadge and Lessie May Phillips, J.L. and Captola Malone, J.V. and Robbie Smith; aunt, Cindy Malone and uncle, Jamie Malone.

Left to carry on her memory is her precious little boy, Ryland Spicer; her father, Terry (Wendy) Malone; her sister Raegan Malone; brother, Ethan Malone; aunts, Kim Maddox, Keri Keller and Jamie Phillips; special cousins, Madison (Jordan) McSwain, Grayson (Linzi) Phillips and their children who Kendyl considered nieces and nephews, Isla and Decker McSwain and Colter Phillips.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Stouts Mountain Baptist Church at 3 p.m. with Rev. Randall Waldrep, Rev. Brian Calvert and Rev Ernest McKinnon officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.

No graveside services are planned at this time.
