Helen Thornton, age 87 of Cullman, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025. She was born December 20, 1937 to Oscar Lenning and Bessie Tucker Lenning.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step father, Grady Cagle; husband, Earnest Thornton; son, Clifford Thornton; son, Terry Thornton; infant son, Denise Thornton; brother, Larry Lenning; and granddaughter, Mandi Thornton.
Survivors include daughter, Sandra (Charles) Brawner; daughter-in-law, Pat (Clifford) Thornton; daughter-in-law, Michelle (Terry) Thornton; son, Edward Thornton; son, Henry (Debra) Thornton; half-brother, Richard (Linda) Lenning; and host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services for Mrs. Thornton will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025, visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a private graveside service.
