CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Area Technology Academy (CATA) Culinary Arts program will host a lunch on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the school. The cost is $10 per person.
Culinary Arts Instructor Amie Veal said this is her 12th year teaching Culinary Arts at CATA and the program have been hosting this event since she began teaching.
“The meals begin in October of every school year,” Veal said. “The date and menu is always posted the week prior to the meal. The date/menu can be found on our CATA Facebook page and CATA website at the beginning of each month. Meals must be pre-ordered two days in advance.”
She continued, “The meal is dine-in or carry-out and includes salad, entree, side, bread, dessert and a drink. The event is held on the first or second Thursday of the month. Each meal is prepared and cooked by our Culinary Arts students. All of the Culinary Arts students are involved in the preparation and cooking of the meal.”
