HOLLY POND, Ala. – The Holly Pond Jazz Band will host “Jazz and Red Velvet, Dinner, Dessert and a Show” on Saturday, Feb. 15, with doors set to open at 5:45 p.m.
Holly Pond High School Band Director Steven Porter said the event will be held at the Holly Pond Alumni Gym.
“I expect attendees to have a great night of music food, and fellowship,” he said. “This is the fourth year for this event with Holly Pond Jazz. I have done a Jazz and Red Velvet event everywhere I have taught. Good food and the best genre of music always makes for a great night.”
Ticket options include $30 for dinner and the show, a table of six for $165 or $10 for the show only.
“The menu includes Italian chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, granny’s green beans and red velvet cake for dessert,” Porter said. “Coffee, tea and water will also be served. The funds will be used for equipment maintenance, purchases and operational expenses (for the band).”
