CULLMAN, Ala. – Sparkle-Jo, The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week, is an approximately 1-year-old Husky mix.
She has medium energy, and while she looks delicate, she was sturdy enough to withstand 29 degrees during her photo shoot!
Once she believes your intentions are honorable, which may take her a minute, her inner self is unlocked and you’re greeted with love.
The energy it took to be guarded has been exhausting for her, but when she opens up you’ll finally see she’s a whimsical gem who loves you boldly.
According to those taking care of her, “She is the absolute best pick for a companion/hiking/therapy dog! She has gently taken a piece of my heart!”
Her adoption fee is $130, which includes spay, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
Visit the shelter at 935 Convent Road NE. It’s open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. If you come by and she’s already been adopted, don’t worry as she has plenty of friends still holding out hope for their forever homes!
